Do you know a Legend In The Making? You're thinking of Chiney T, a humble yet talented female artist who has made her way to the forefront of the dancehall industry within the last few months. Focused with a mind set for success and accepted by fans worldwide, it is obvious that Chiney T is on the scene to stay. 

IN THE BEGINNING

Birth name, Subrana Borris but rocks the stage name Chiney T, a name that derived from the having a slight resemblance of the Chinese and the 1st letter of the alias 'Tiny', a unique name to go with such unique beauty, unique concepts and unique voice. Chiney T was born in St. Ann, Jamaica on April 1st 1987, this proud county girl started doing music during her early years of high school, back then Chiney T would link up with another family member who had the same interest, so they could make music together. Her passion for music grew over the years and so she pushed even harder to pursue the dream..

Not long after, while staying in Kingston, the artist started visiting recording studios and gained some experience regarding recording. Soon she was on the right track getting exposed to the business side of the music, then in 2016 Chiney T got registered with a few music royalty organizations and began her journey, writing and releasing songs so as to build and grow her fan base.

ACHIEVEMENTS & MILESTONES

In 2019, Chiney T was at the moment, working with several producers and record labels which gave the exposure that she needed to be discovered, by both fans, producers and business opportunities, By this time Chiney T was achieving milestones and setting bigger milestones with songs creating waves on music platforms and social media platforms just the same..
Going forward she then met up with the record label; Streetz Boss Entertainment, which


have played a major role in the career of the artist, since then Chiney T have released several singles produced by Streetz Boss Entertainment, including; 'Legend In The Making', 'You Got Me', '1st Time' and 'Good Fuck', she has also made appearance on several other compilation albums like; Truth Serum Riddim, Sparks Riddim, In The Whip Riddim & Milky Way Riddim, all produced by Streetz Boss Ent and can be found on every digital music platform and streaming platforms.

With his mandate to showcase the Jamaican dancehall culture on international streaming platforms, Downsound Records (DSR) CEO Josef Bogdanovich  has thrown his muscles behind the new reality web series Dancehall Life . Dancehall Life premiered on Sunday April 11 on Kingston Signal’s official YouTube channel.  “The reality series is about the day in the life of these three influential ladies of dancehall, who amongst other things are known for their dancing skills,” Bogdanovich explained.
