With his mandate to showcase the Jamaican dancehall culture on international streaming platforms, Downsound Records (DSR) CEO Josef Bogdanovich has thrown his muscles behind the new reality web series Dancehall Life.
Dancehall Life premiered on Sunday April 11 on Kingston Signal’s official YouTube channel. 
“The reality series is about the day in the life of these three influential ladies of dancehall, who amongst other things are known for their dancing skills,” Bogdanovich explained.
The cast includes dancers Keticia “TC’ Chatman, Christina ‘Dancing Rebel’ Nelson and Tashlieka ‘Pretty Pretty’ Laird.
Said Bogdanovich: “We did a pilot series to see how it went, and afterwards, we have a three- month plan. Moving forward will depend on what the response is like. These girls are very interesting and we are hoping their fan base will find them as interesting and entertaining as we did.”
Bogdanovich, who is also the executive producer for Dancehall Life, is known for his involvement in several entertainment ventures through the years. His Downsound Records label has piloted the careers of several artistes while producing many hit songs.
Through the Downsound Entertainment Group, Bogdanovich made a major move in 2016 when he acquired the rights to Reggae Sumfest, the Greatest Reggae show on earth.  Prior to that investment, he gave marketing and financial support to the 2012 and 2013 staging of Sting.
Bogdanovich is also a major shareholder of the KLE Group, operators of the Usain Bolt Tracks & Records. 
He explained his decision to pursue his latest venture.
“I added Dancehall Life to my growing list of entertainment offerings because these type series are quite the rage right now. Everyone is streaming on platforms like Netflix, and Apple music etc. These reality type shows are somewhat replacing regular movies and our objective is to get this program syndicated on some of these platforms,” said Bogdanovich
