V'Licious, birth name 'Vanessa', is an UK reggae and dancehall artist who was born and raised in the musically rich garrison community of Waterhouse, in Kingston Jamaica. She has always been surrounded by music and as one of the younger siblings, she was designated entertainer at family gatherings and small functions.

After migrating to the UK in 2002 it took some time for her to embrace her musical calling but in 2012 she recorded her first track.  She quickly became one of the preferred go to supporting acts in the reggae and dancehall community and have performed as opening act for several well-known artist including; Macka Diamond, Alkaline, Gage, I Wayne and Gully Bop. 

In 2013, V'Licious was awarded 'Best UK Female Artist' by Crystal Blue Sound and was later nominated for the same category at the 'DIA' .


NEW YEAR, BIG ENTRY 

The recording artist have been recording songs for awhile but recent releases has deemed a bright future for the artist, though she has not yet signed a deal with any record labels or publisher, since 2021 she has been working with record labels like Kofi Brain Music and Streetz Boss Entertainment who plays major roles in some of her most recent releases including; 'Me And You' , 'The Best' and 'Bubble'

V'Licious is an excellent writer and artist who expresses the many aspects of her personality through the magic of music.She has ghost written for a few UK artists and has every intention to take her musical career to the next level.

With his mandate to showcase the Jamaican dancehall culture on international streaming platforms, Downsound Records (DSR) CEO Josef Bogdanovich  has thrown his muscles behind the new reality web series Dancehall Life . Dancehall Life premiered on Sunday April 11 on Kingston Signal’s official YouTube channel.  “The reality series is about the day in the life of these three influential ladies of dancehall, who amongst other things are known for their dancing skills,” Bogdanovich explained.
